Installation of the Deeplinks App
In the Admin Center, you can enable role and/or group restrictions as needed. To properly configure the deeplinks, be sure to include users with the appropriate admin or billing admin roles in the role restrictions.

Create a deeplink in Zendesk
Once the Deeplinks app has been installed and configured in the Admin Center, you can begin setting up your deeplinks within your Zendesk instance.
1. Access the Deeplink app
To start:
- Locate the Deeplinks app in the left-hand navigation menu
- Click Add row to start configuring a new external link

2. Define your deeplink
In the setup screen, you’ll be prompted to define the following:

Name – A recognizable label for your deeplink

Color – Choose a color to visually identify the link

Condition – Define when the link should be shown (see note below)

URL – The destination address of the external link

3. Configure link options
Once your link is defined, you can customize its behavior with the following options:

Active – Show or hide the link in the ticket view

Cleaned – Remove unnecessary characters or formatting

Encode characters – URL-encode special characters
-
Allow display when values are empty – Show the link even when fields are blank

4. Save & use
Click Save to finalize your deeplink. It will now appear in your Zendesk ticket view based on the conditions and parameters you’ve defined.
