Migrating tickets from other ticketing systems to Zendesk

We migrate tickets from your old ticketing (cloud and onPremise) system to Zendesk. 

Data source for migration

In order to assist you we need the following information

• Source-system
• Source API capable? If yes we will need some sort of API documentation
• Database access - We can also migrate data if we get access to the database to your onpremise ticketing system (MS Sql, MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, DB2 ..)
• Using exports like XLS, CSV etc. to migrate data to Zendesk

Migration process

• Determine technical way of migrating suiting the source-system
• Definition of tickets to import and which fields to import to Zendesk
• Imports of requesters needed to properly link the tickets
• Importing to Sandbox first
• Review
• Migration to live environment
