Opening local windows clients with parameters from Zendesk

Some ERP/CRM systems are not accessible through webpages and classical fat-clients are locally installed on the Agents Desktop. 

These programs can also be launched from an URL.

Requirements:

• the client itself needs the ability to be started with parameters
• the browser the agent uses needs to have a registered "handler" and permissions to launch local applications
• please ask your vendor/partner of your ERP/CRM to find out

URL-Structure for Deeplinks App:

Here is an example of launching a classic SAP GUI from Zendesk with a configured URL in the Deeplinks App by using the EXTERNAL_ID of the Organisation:
