Leafworks implemented an integrated solution using Zendesk and Knots Studio Middleware, automating the entire process from review submission to approval—the result: significant time savings, fewer errors, and complete transparency.

Managing product reviews manually in Klaviyo was time-consuming and prone to mistakes. Each review required human oversight to determine whether it should be published or rejected, creating delays and inconsistent handling. Our customer’s goal was to streamline this workflow and implement automation without losing control over review quality.
Solution and Implementation
To streamline this process, Leafworks integrated Klaviyo with Knots Studio and Zendesk. This setup enables fully automated handling of reviews – from submission to decision – while maintaining complete control and transparency. The workflow works as follows:
Step 1 – Review Submission
Reviews are submitted in Klaviyo by customers.
Step 2 – Webhook to Knots Studio
Klaviyo triggers a flow that sends the review data via webhook to Knots Studio.
Step 3 – Ticket Creation in Zendesk
Knots Studio formats the payload and sends it to Zendesk, creating a ticket for the incoming review.
Step 4 – Automated Handling with KnotsGPT
Zendesk processes the ticket using KnotsGPT, automatically determining whether the review should be approved or rejected.
Step 5 – Decision Sent Back to Knots Studio
The automated decision is sent back to Knots Studio.
Step 6 – Update Sent to Klaviyo
Knots Studio prepares an update payload and sends it back to Klaviyo.
Step 7 – Review Published or Rejected
Klaviyo updates the review status based on the automated decision.
