When using external phone systems with Zendesk, it can sometimes be difficult for agents and team leads to keep track of the current telephony status directly within Zendesk. In many cases, this requires switching to the dashboard of the respective phone system.
There is an easier way: an app can retrieve the relevant data directly from the phone system via API and display it to agents in Zendesk as a compact statistics overview.
