Data Import with the Leafworks Sunshine Data Editor

Summary

The Sunshine Data Editor is a CRM tool that provides you with a user interface to manage your custom objects.

You can edit, import, export Sunshine data directly in Zendesk, and in the PRO version, also delete large amounts of data. The clean interface allows for quick creation of new objects and updates. This saves a lot of time in daily work.

• User interface for managing custom objects
• Editing Sunshine data directly in Zendesk
• Editing, deleting, and creating individual objects
• Mass import and mass export of data via CSV files in the PRO version
• Mass deletion of data in the PRO version

Data Import with the Sunshine Data Editor

To import your Sunshine data, proceed as follows:

1. Create a New Object in the Admin Center

Create a new object under Admin Center → Objects and enter all necessary properties, i.e., Properties, along with the corresponding data types, i.e., Types. 

2. Select Object in the Support View

Return to your Support view. Click on the Sunshine Data Editor Icon in the sidebar and select the previously created object there.

3. Export CSV Template

Create a record manually in your object and export it to generate a CSV template with the corresponding column headers, i.e., Headers.

4. Fill CSV File

Open the downloaded CSV file and enter your data in the specified format into the file. 

5. Import CSV File

Import the created CSV file through the Sunshine Data Editor app.
