📢 Release notes for May 2025

Welcome to the May edition of our Marketplace update! This month’s release includes a range of enhancements and fixes implemented throughout April and May. We’ve made key improvements across Side Tickets, Conditional Fields, and the Guide Importer app. Read on for the full details.

🔧 Feature Updates & Enhancements

Side Tickets

• Concurrent Edits Safeguard: When two agents edit a template configuration at the same time, the first saved version will now persist, preventing unintentional overwrites.

• Template Field Handling: New tickets created using templates will now correctly fill in fields that are left unset in the template.

• Improved Styling: Display issues with large elements such as tables have been resolved for better readability.

• ‘Add as Side Ticket’ Fix: Improved filtering logic prevents unrelated tickets (those containing a main ticket ID) from being incorrectly linked.

• Suspended Users: Suspended users now appear in modals with a tag and are disabled—matching Zendesk's native behavior.

Conditional Fields

• New Delay Parameter: A configurable delay for ticket forms has been added in app settings. This may help resolve timing issues with field visibility.

• Updated Clear Logic: The clearHiddenAndDisabledFields setting has been refined to clear only hidden fields, reducing confusion and support requests.

Guide Importer

• Dark Theme Support: The app now supports dark mode for better accessibility and appearance.

• Improved Error Handling: Vague or unclear errors now provide better feedback to users.

🐞 Bug Fixes

Side Tickets

• Templates now load correctly when creating new side tickets.

• Pre-filled information from the main ticket is once again properly displayed.

Deeplinks

• Deep links now update properly when switching between different requesters.

Guide Importer

• The app is now hidden from users without admin roles.

• Fixed an issue where the icon was not visible in dark mode.
